Marian Doyle
Known for the big, the nervous and the senior dogs — the ones other shops sometimes turn away. Marian is calm, unhurried, and very hard to fluster. If your dog has had a bad grooming experience before, she's who you want.
No chain, no upsells, no white-tiled "pet spa." Just a couple of experienced groomers in Bonnie Doon who'd rather do fewer dogs well than rush a full book.
Marian opened Bonnie Doon Grooming after eighteen years grooming around Edmonton — and a lot of years walking her own dogs through the ravine. She wanted a small, quiet shop in the neighbourhood she actually lived in, where dogs weren't stacked in cages waiting their turn.
That's still how it runs. One dog on the table at a time, a calm room, and groomers who'll happily spend the extra ten minutes it takes to keep a nervous dog comfortable. Most of our customers walk here.

Between us we've groomed just about every breed and temperament Edmonton can throw at us.

Our scissor specialist — doodles, poodles and anything that needs a proper hand-finished cut. Patient with wiggly puppies and happy to show you how to keep the coat brushed out between visits.
Anxious, reactive, never-been-groomed or simply getting on in years — tell us, and we'll plan around it.

“My rescue used to shake the whole way to the groomer. Now he trots in. They took it slow for months and never once made me feel like he was a problem.”
